We use the collected information to:
We handle user data in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use or transfer it for personalised advertising.
Annotations are private by default. When you choose Share, your highlights, annotations, page URLs and author profile become available to other Enlight users; you can stop sharing them through Unshare. We use Supabase to provide authentication and cloud storage. If you enable Notion sync, we send annotations and the information needed to synchronise them to your selected Notion data source. We use our newsletter service and automation infrastructure to process subscription requests and, when enabled, subscription events. These services receive the data needed to provide these features. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Highlights, annotations and session information are stored locally in your browser. When you sign in, saved annotations are also synchronised to our Supabase database; account information, Notion connection tokens and mappings, and subscription records are stored there. Notion-synchronised copies are stored in your Notion workspace, and newsletter subscription information and events are processed in our newsletter and automation systems. We retain data for as long as needed to provide these features; you can delete annotations or request deletion of your account and associated data. Uninstalling the extension does not delete cloud data, and copies exported or synchronised to Notion must be managed separately. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access and maintain data accuracy.
